TOAZ Allocated Over Three Million Roubles to Sponsor Recreational Programs for Children in 2019

This year, Togliattiazot (TOAZ), Russia’s major ammonia producer, allocated more than three million rubles to finance health programs for employees’ children.

In 2019, 174 children aged 7 to 17 visited recreational and health centers. In August, 100 of them went on holiday to the Dream Summer Camp located at the Black Sea in the village of Dzhubga, Tuapse District. The transfer services and hot meals were also sponsored by the enterprise. 74 children were given vouchers for wellness programs in Togliatti’s Rainbow Recreation Center in a pine forest on the Volga river. According to the collective agreement, parents paid as little as 30 % of the holiday package value.

TOAZ traditionally places more focus on the atmosphere the plant workers work in. Of course, when things are settled with holidays for the children, workers feel more relaxed and, therefore this item of expenditure can easily be deemed investment in higher productivity and Togliattiazot workers’ confidence in the future,” commented Tatyana Efremova, Associate Director for HR Management at Togliattiazot.

The collective agreement was signed between TOAZ as the employer and the trade union of the enterprise in 2017. It stipulates 53 benefits, guarantees and compensations, of which more than a half were initiated by the employer. In 2017 and 2018 the collective agreement of TOAZ was recognised the best in the Samara Region.
