TOAZ SIGNED AN INVESTMENT AGREEMENT

PJSC TOAZ (Togliattiazot), one of the leading mineral fertilizer producers in Russia, signed an investment agreement to build a new school and kindergarten in the Krasnodar Territory. The signing ceremony took place on August 3, 2022. The agreement was signed by Veniamin Kondratiev, Governor, on behalf of the Krasnodar Territory Administration; by Fedor Babenkov, Head of the District, on behalf of the Temryuksky District Administration; and by Anatoly Shablinskiy, General Director, on behalf of PJSC TOAZ.

The event was attended by Sergey Momtsemlidze, member of the Board of Directors of PJSC TOAZ, Alexander Ruppel, Vice-Governor, heads of relevant departments and company representatives.

The aims of the agreement are participation of PJSC TOAZ in the sustainable development of the Krasnodar Territory, a leader in terms of investment attractiveness and economic growth rates.

According to the agreement, a 360-seat kindergarten in the stanitsa of Taman and a 1,100-seat public school in Temryuk will be built in Temryuk District. The company plans to build the kindergarten and school at its own expense and then transfer them to the municipality.

Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory:

- The Krasnodar Territory appreciates socially-oriented investors who take a comprehensive approach to business: they invest both in their own production and create infrastructure in the areas where they operate. The agreement signed today involves the construction of a kindergarten for 360 children in the stanitsa of Taman and a school for 1,100 pupils in Temryuk. I am sure it will reduce the existing load on the education system. I expect that Togliattiazot will continue to actively participate in the solution of important issues for the residents. The opening of the port means 500 new jobs in the municipality. The project is significant for the economy of the region and Temryuksky District. Nevertheless, safety issues are of paramount importance for us. It is necessary that the facility meets the highest environmental standards. Despite the importance of transport and port infrastructure development, the Krasnodar Territory shall remain a resort region.

- We are going to use the most modern technologies, safety and automation means at the port. The future facility in Taman is designed only for transshipment, without production, so the environmental impact will be zero. In the regions where we operate, we actively cooperate with local residents and environmentalists and keep good relations. We are planning to work as openly as possible in Kuban. We are interested in developing the region, making it attractive and convenient for living. We are planning to start up the transshipment complex in three stages: from December 2023, in 2-3 years the facility will reach its design capacity.

Anatoly Shablinskiy, General Director, PJSC TOAZ:

- PJSC TOAZ is currently considering various options of marine logistics development for mineral fertilizers export and the Krasnodar Territory is one of the most logical directions, especially since the port of Togliattiazot is being built here. Therefore, we are interested in the development of the Temryuk Region, to make it attractive and comfortable for living, especially for young families. We are ready to help the administration of the region and the district to attract young people to the region and we hope to see them in the future among the workers of marine logistics including our port.
