TOAZ Urea Plant No. 3 Obtains an Approval by the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia
TOAZ PJSC (Togliattiazot), one of the principal employers of Togliatti, the largest urea supplier to the Russian market and one of the main ammonia manufacturers in Russia, continues construction of the third urea plant, constituting one of the key investment projects of the Russian chemical industry.
According to the TOAZ urea plant No. 3 construction office, an approval was obtained on 21 July 2020 upon a repeated state examination. It was held following amendments introduced into the design documentation for the plant.
Previously, the urea plant No. 3 project with the said amendments was approved by the state environmental examination panel. For the next project stage, the Ministry of Construction of the Samara Region should amend the permit for construction of the new TOAZ production facility with regard to the recent adjustments.
Currently, appr. 24% of all construction works at the new production facility are completed.
PJSC TOAZ continues implementing its key investment project – construction of the third urea production unit with a capacity of 2,200 tonnes per day.
