DMITRY MEZHEEDOV IS APPOINTED AS A NEW CEO OF CJSC CORPORATION ‘TOGLIATTIAZOT’

The Board of Directors of CJSC Corporation Togliattiazot which acts as a sole executive body for PJSC Togliattiazot (TOAZ), at a meeting held on June 21, 2019 and following the decision approved earlier by the Board of Directors of PJSC Togliattiazot, voted for appointment of Dmitry Mezheedov as a CEO of CJSC Corporation ‘Togliattiazot’. He will take the office on June 25, 2019.

Vyacheslav Suslov, who had earlier held the position, will remain in TOAZ Board and in the company’s management team.

‘TOAZ is grateful to Vyacheslav Suslov for his professionalism, not least because of which the company achieved high production and financial results. In the times of market volatility and uneasy situation due to unfriendly actions of the minority shareholders he had assured the high efficiency of the operations. Under his direction the extensive upgrade of production facilities has continued, the important investment projects had come true, and a construction of a new plant had started for the first time in a long period’ – Petr Ordzhonikidze, PJSC Togiattiazot Chairman of the Board, stated.

Since 2012 Dmitry Mezheedov has been the Deputy CEO – Director of Corporate Management and Control of PJSC Corporation ‘Togliattiazot’. In this role he has been responsible for increase of efficiency of business procedures, implementation of internal control systems and risk management. Besides, Mr Mezheedov has headed the Transformation Program, aiming at development of the company’s business processes in general. Since 2016 he has been leading the project of construction of the 3rd urea production plant. Before joining Togliattiazot, since 2005 Mr Mezheyedov has worked in senior positions in finance management in various entities of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. Prior to that, in 2000 – 2004, he has worked in food and chemical industries. Dmitry Mezheedov is a graduate of economics department of Moscow State Academy of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science. In 2001 he received a PhD in Engineering Science from Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia and retrained in International Marketing by Consortium of MGIMO University and Institute of Business Studies of The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
