Production shop for refractory products was set up in cooperation with Austrian company Plibrico, supplier of raw components and ingredients being the basis for production of dry concrete compounds and ready shaped products. The production division is mainly specialized in repairs of refractory-containing equipment at ammonia and carbamide plants, as well as industrial furnaces for ceramics.

The shop has an area for repair of steel casting and calcinations furnaces installed at Volga Cement Machinery Plant (VolgaCemMach), one of the enterprises of TogliattiAzot Corporation.

The same shop produces frit, which is the most expensive component in glazed tile production. That is why ToAZ management once made a decision to acquire a factory to set up in-house production. That time there were no production sites like this not only in Russia but also within the entire territory of the former USSR.

Nowadays, frit production facilities completely satisfy demands of ToAZ itself. Besides, the products are supplied to many regions of the country to many glazed tile production factories.
