TOAZ PROVIDES VOLUNTARY HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

OJSC Togliattiazot (ToAZ) will pay 100% of the cost of voluntary health insurance (VHI) certificates for all ToAZ employees starting July, 2016.

When necessary, VHI schemes will provide ToAZ employees the entire variety of high quality and high technology therapy and expert consulting in addition to the existing ToAZ system of medical and health resort treatment.

The VHI program has been launched at ToAZ in 2014. However, the enterprise earlier covered a part of the policy cost while the rest was recompensed by the trade union and the employee while less than a half of employees participated in the program. To make quality medical service available for each employee, Togliattiazot undertakes to cover all expenses as of this year.

Vyacheslav Suslov, CEO of CJSC Corporation Togliattiazot, said: “Provision of high social guarantees is a most important line of ToAZ corporate policy. Attention to employees’ health is not just words, it’s a complex program that we steadily develop and realize. We will further continue the systematic work aimed at maintaining and improving the work environment at the plant.”

Tatiana Yefremova, Deputy CEO on Personnel of CJSC Toglattiazot, adds: “Today over 30 benefits and social guarantees are in force for the employees, to which we now add a possibility of obtaining a VHI policy. It should be specially emphasized that each ToAZ employee will be insured under the VHI program, which is unique for such a big enterprise”.

Introduction of VHI for all Togliattiazot employees has become one more addition to the social package of the enterprise. Today ToAZ social package includes medical treatment, health resort therapy, financial support of young specialists and retired veterans of the enterprise. In 2015, the average wages at the enterprise totaled RUB 43 000 per month.
