NO CLAIMS IN RELATION TO PRIVATIZATION OF 6.1% OF THE JSC “TOGLIATTIAZOT” SHARES
Arbitration Court of Saratov region made the decision to deny the action of Federal Agency of State Property Manafement of Russian Federation for invalidation of the sale – purchase transaction of 6.1% of the JSC “Togliattiazot” shares.

V. MAKHLAY HAS BEEN NEWLY RE-ELECTED AS CHIEF OF “TOGLIATTIAZOT” BOARD OF DIRECTORS
According to information of company press-centre, Vladimir Makhlay, President of the company, has been newly re-elected as Chairman of “Togliattiazot” (ToAZ) Board of Directors. Such decision has been taken at the first meeting of new staff of “Togliattiazot” Board of Directors which was appointed at annual meeting of company shareholders held on 21.03.2009.

According to information of company press-centre, Vladimir Makhlay, President of the company, has been newly re-elected as Chairman of “Togliattiazot” (ToAZ) Board of Directors. Such decision has been taken at the first meeting of new staff of “Togliattiazot” Board of Directors which was appointed at annual meeting of company shareholders held on 21.03.2009. Shareholders have also affirmed an annual report of corporation for 2008. The financial indexes of company operation were not reported by press-centre but it was mentioned that the company has succeeded in increasing them as per results of the last year. Moreover, the company emphasized that it has managed to preserve all the jobs.

JSC “Togliattiazot” (Samara region) is the first-rate ammonia producer in the world. Its share in the world market of “commercial grade” ammonia is valued at about 8-10%. In December 2008 the Government of Russian Federation included ToAZ (as well as “Transammiak”) in the list of “crucial” enterprises among 17 chemical companies of Russia.
