A working meeting of the members of the central committee’s presidium of the Russian Chemical Trade Union with the management of JSC Togliattiazot took place on 17, June in Togliatti. Counteraction measures against the raiders’ attack on the enterprise were discussed at the meeting. According to the words of leader of the chemical trade union Alexander Sitnov, “he is astonished by firmness of the people who defend their plant, their production and social achievements”. Main hopes to curb raiders’ outrage in the country the leader of the trade union connects with the adoption of the federal anti-raiders’ law.

During the working meeting the central committee’s presidium of the Russian Chemical Trade Union read the appeal to the President of the Russian Federation, deputies of the Gosduma in connection with the situation around JSC Togliattiazot. It is specifically said in the appeal that “successful business doesn’t let competitors rest, who with the aim to absorb it initiate and provoke high interest of law enforcing and controlling bodies to JSC Togliattiazot”. The enterprise has stood more than 270 hearings, more than 60 thousand documents have been sent to different inspecting bodies since the beginning of the raiders’ attack.

Leaders of the trade union asked the President and deputies to precipitate the adoption of the federal anti-raiders’ law, “what will allow to save successfully developing enterprise JSC Togliattiazot from illegal actions towards it”. Directors of JSC Togliattiazot who took part at the working meeting supported the appeal and once again drew attention to a most serious threat of raiders for Russian economy.
