On the 21^st of March 2008 in Moscow in Prezident-Otel the rewarding ceremony of the annual national award “Leader of Industry” took place. The successes of the Russian companies in the sphere of agriculture, construction, metallurgy, chemistry and petrochemistry, machinery, oil and gas production and commerce were marked by honourable orders and award diplomas.

            The national award “Leader of Industry” is organized in support of Russian business and it promotes the achievement of social and economic goals and tasks are designed for raising Russian economy and improving the quality of life. The award founders are Russian Association of Manufacturers and Business Support Fond. The administrative department of the President of Russian Federation and the deputies of the State Duma also render assistance. The experts held a selection of the leaders according to the results of research indexes of the annual volume of realisation, profit and loss of the company, the dynamics of the sales volume compared to the preceding years.

            JSC “Togliattiazot” became the laureate of the national award “Leader of Industry” in the sphere of chemistry and petrochemistry. The decision of the advisory council was based on the high estimation of financial, production and social indexes of the enterprise.
