Ex-judge of the Samara Region Arbitration Court Nadezhda Kostuchenko has applied to the European Court of Human Rights with a request to check legitimacy of the award to deprive her of powers.

Then around 11 a.m., dozens of men dressed in camouflage and toting automatic weapons charged into the administration building. "We thought it was a terrorist attack," Sergei Korushev, the plant's deputy director, says of the September, 2005, raid.

TogliattiAzot Has Gained a Victory over an Offshore Shareholder
The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow has found a resolution in the dispute between the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs with respect to the legality of a new criminal suit against Vladimir Makhlay, TogliattiAzot President, and Alexander Makarov, TogliattiAzot CEO, which was instigated by the Investigating Committee.

One can understand the state of affairs at the giant chemical company and the largest in the world ammonia producer from the fact that its employees celebrate allowance of cassational appeal as a majour victory in their fight with raiders.they According to the Interfax agency, the Federal Arbitration Court of Povolzhsky Territory has recently sent the case of privatization of 6.1% of TogliattiAzot (ToAz) shares for review. It is going to bethe third reviewal of the case.

Victors need never explain
There appeared to be some hope for TogliattiAzot (ToAz), which is currently engaged in numerous legal proceedings. The Supreme Arbitration Court has responded to an appeal lodged by ToAz against the decision of the Samara Region Arbitration Court that had ruled that the exchange of the 51% Transammiak shares for 6.1% of TogliattiAzot shares had been invalid. This event has been followed by the Togliatti District Court decision, in which the criminal proceeding against Vladimir Makhlay, the TogliattiAzot Chairman was quashed.
